Does anybody have a link to where I could download the complete game server installer for Battlefield 2 server 1.41 with bf2cc? I have tried to make my own, but it will not show up in the clients login area. A link or someone who could lend me the files would be greatly appreaciated.

Thanks,

well what I did is extract the zip into the BF2 install folder in GameInstalls. And then it worked from there. It would be easier for me to send them to you as they are on my personal drive right now so it cant really be accessed through FTP. If you want, I can help you with uploading them to your system and making sure that it is working properly.

Sorry I never posted back but I have been busy and have not had a chance to work with this. I just fired it up and I got this error when the server tries to start

After looking around I discovered its a default profile issue. I am not sure what is the problem here. I looked over the file that was generated and it appears to be fine, but the error suggest that it is expecting something and not getting the right input. Can anyone post a working bf2 config file. Maybe I just got a bad one.

Have you tried that?

I recently setup a BF2 & BF2CC server using the TCA profile JasonF posted, works without issue for me.

Thats corrrect. Also the tca config you use should be creating a default.profile with at minimum these variables.

<?xml version="1.0" standalone="yes"?>

<Profile>

<ServerInfo>

<ServerInfoID>1</ServerInfoID>

<GameIP>%serverip%</GameIP>

<GamePort>%serverport%</GamePort>

<GamespyPort>%queryport%</GamespyPort>

<RCONIP>%serverip%</RCONIP>

<RCONPort>%rconport%</RCONPort>

<IsInternet>true</IsInternet>

<AllowNATNegotiate>false</AllowNATNegotiate>

<PunkbusterEnabled>true</PunkbusterEnabled>

<RCONPassword>%rconpasword%</RCONPassword>

</ServerInfo>

<GameInfo>

<GameInfoID>1</GameInfoID>

<ServerName>%hostname%</ServerName>

Make sure your install pack does not have a default.profile and let tca create it upon install.
