Host Name

How do I go about changing the host name when you create the server? As it seems to pick the name of the config file =/

Fill in the Hostname field on the create a game and voice server screen.

Yes of course, but I want it a default name so I don't need to type it in each time.

Are you using the auto setup in Clientexec or are you setting them up manually? If you are using auto setup, then you can put your default name into the CE package for each game type. If you are manually setting them up, I do not think that is possible.

 

Note: using custom fields in CE 3.2 now works for passing the hostname along with rcon password.
