If you get ddos'd you'll pray for extra bandwidth. Always good to be safe.

 

DDOS attacks isn't about the bandwidth.. It designed to over drive your hardware into over heading, from processing so many requests at one time, not overloading your bandwidth.. 5,000TB.. yeah.. not going to happen.

Well, I've got same box with 16go (it's a quad core, with hyperthreaded, so 8 cores :) ) and I run on it about ~ 400 slots tick 100. When 200 slots are fulled, the cpu of each processor are'nt more than 40%. And the ram is good, ~ 100mb per serv, so about 6gig of ram.

 

So you can run more than 200 slots on the single box =)
