Reinstall Windows

I need to reinstall Windows, but keep the servers with the same IP for after I reinstall. Is there some way to pack up the servers, move them somewhere (not just the move server), and reinstall windows (I know how to do that), then install TCAdmin again and bring back those server with the same IP's?

I would probably say, backup your database, and then restore it later.

It's not the database. This is a remote server that I need to reinstall.

This is why we host our Windows drive on C and our gameservers and gamefiles on D - makes it easier for this sort of thing.

you could just zip up all the files, or do a file or volume backup of the drive, transfer it away, reinstall and then restore only the clients files.

do not zip up the files you will be asking for problems then. just transfer the userfiles folder to your master box, format the machine then just transfer the userfiles folder back over

Simple add a new HD drive in install windows on it and get it to boot from that HD drive then copy all your game files over from your old drive then update the services in TCAdmin

or, if your using Server 2008, create a partition on the existing hard drive, move the client files over there, reinstall windows, move files back and get rid of the partition. Disk Management for the win anyone?
