Guest Unregistered
i wanted to no how exactly do you monitor each gameserver to see if its still active as stated in your features "Game monitoring - Monitoring the service itself is not enough. TCAdmin monitors each individual game and makes sure the game is not only running, but also active." currently our control panel we use only checks to see if the server has crashed, there is no protocol to check whether the server has frozen but still is up. which means we have to go in and manually reboot it. does your tcadmin software also monitor when a server simply freezes but doesn't crash. Jaggl
not all games can be checks with the monitor but the most popular can be checked. If the Game chan be checked (BF2 or someting like that) u can view the Gameserver status and the game will be checked if its running AND responding, so not just the exe File is checked! Defcon|Rich
The game monitor simply queries the game server and reports back if it's online or offline. In the case of a server that pops up and freezes with an error it's usually (depending on the specific server) reported as online since the server is technically running. It cannot decide if it's joinable or whatever state it happens to be in. The game monitor feature is meant to be a "quick check" tool for admins not something to use for diagnostics. Hope this helps!
