Script that can Delet Log Files

Hi,

 

as u know AA3 is making Backup logs. So a script that delets that logs would be great.

 

 

Lets say:

 

Get GameServer all AA3 and than to a FTP Connection and delet the Logs.....Is this possible?

I know it's possible without TCA using a batch file and Scheduled Tasks, not sure about inside TCA.

how to use it? how i can say the batch file, delete all logs from a folder from a specific game?

 

batchfile would be great witch can do this...

This should work. Change the DIR and file name and just set it up as a scheduled task

 

cd C:\Users\USERNAME\TC459349532348\logs

del serverlogs.txt

echo "logs deleted"

pause

 

Remove the pause to automatically quit the command window on the desktop once it's completed.

I want a script that looks into the DB and get back all AA3 Servers and then delet the log files. I dont wonna create a BATCH file for all AA3 Server.....

No but really im thinkin about the best way to do this on the larger scale vs manual server by server...

1 server is not the problem but 20 or more than its a problem!

Thats my point exactly...Im not sure how to do this on the Large scale for "bigger" hosters....manual is not the way to go when you have hundreds of servers on your network.

my thought was a sec. application with a batch file in a loop. thats the noob way i think....

i run linux (and no im not making a virtual just for this lol)
