Arma Error - Help!

When I click on the .exe I get this error:

 

Display adapter does not support format D24S8 for R5G6B5

 

I am running windows 2008 without any patches.

u cant start the server this way, u have to start it over tcadmin or a batch file with -server

Yea I understand that. I bought the game off direct drive but it doesn't come with the ArmA_Server.exe just the ArmA.exe.

 

Do I need to install the game as it asks for a cd key but direct drive didnt give me one...

Ah, I see you need to download the patch and install it to get the ArmA_Server.exe. Does anyone have that .exe on hand I can download from them.

make sure you have the latest Direct x on your box's

Yea, but I cant seem to install the patch as it can't locate the game files even though I added a registry edit.

It is also ARMA 1 not 2. Anyone mind hosting the game with the latest patch for I can download =/

Yes I did from direct drive but I can't seem to patch it.

You need to ask DD as its a digital version and some of the games you get off there can only be patched via a digital patch

The game seems to work as I see my friend in the server but I can't get the server to show up on hlsw. All other ARMA servers do. Is there something I am doing wrong?

 

Edit: Ignore that. It is not binding to the correct ip. Is there a command line variable to define the option ?

theres a arma config file and threads in those forums.If you read it you will figure out arma servers have to be installed on server's primary IP only.
