Request an option be added that allows us to force a game server restart when a client changes settings. To understand what I mean, we use TCAdmin to run our Ventrilo servers. When users make changes to the .ini files, the changes do not take effect until the server is restarted. The customer does not understand this and does not read the knowledge base or the nice big green message telling them to restart the service. They try the new settings and notice they dont work so decide to cancel. I think having the option to restart a service automatically upon file updates would be very beneficial.

We get that alot as well. Would be nice for it to have a pop-up or something stating,

"Your gameserver will now be restarted " With a clickable OK to confirm and proceed.

Yeah, similar to installing a mod.

just add a tickbox to the game settings so you can choose if customers are asked or not to get the server restarted after making change.

Exemple if you tick it for ventrilo and user makes changes he gets a popup saying "your changes will be applied after restart only" cloud even add a button to restart now or manually later.

Note that for a game like arma you need to stop the server before being able to edit the configs which is also a pain since you got customers spending time on the config and when they try to save it they get an error message cuz file is in use. Would be cool if there was a popup too but right after they click on edit saying "you need to stop your server ebfore making any change" or when they save : "your server will be stopped before changes saved".
