Automated Email Notifications

So,

 

I configured the automatic email notifications in system settings > plugin manager > TC_GSAUTO and made sure the 3 check boxes are checked on the top but when a user name is create or a game server is created/suspended/moded or anything there is no notification email sent from TCAdmin.

 

Am i missing something that needs to be enabled or setup?

Have you configured your mail servers in TCAdmin yet?

 

If not, you need to make sure you have your mail servers setup to allow TCAdmin to send emails through them.

Thats in the System Settings > Mail Server Setting correct?

 

If so no i have not set that up yet. Thanks for the advice.

yes correct. u have to set this up first, so that tcadmin knows how to send mails

Alright i tried to configure mail server in System Settings but when i go to test it i get a 5.4.4 error. Reverse DNS needs to be setup.

 

But the domain email provider i go to has RDNS setup. I know this because if they didnt alot of other email servers will block email coming from me.

 

How do i fix this?
