Extracting files from a exe file

Does anybody know of a application that will extract the files out of a exe file?

I downloaded a few updates for cod5, but I dont have a root folder for it any more.

I still have the rar file.

When I try to open the exe file, it stalls becuase it cant find root folder.

I want to take the files out of the exe file and them put them into a zip file and then add them to the patch folder.

Any suggestion, would be appreciated

Just go into the registry and delete the entry that has the cod5 folder so that it asks you for a folder again

Give http://legroom.net/software/uniextract a shot. Works on just about any type of installation exe.
