xpservers
Wondering if anyone is experiencing random crash symptoms for srcds and hlds servers on a Windows 2008 Server platform. I took a look at my event viewer the other day and there were quite a few crashes across all 5 (all i have running on the box) srcds and hlds servers. going into the game directory I notice crash minidumps and I analyzed them. This is what I came up with: FAULTING_IP: steamclient!CreateInterface+41899 0fb64979 8b4004 mov eax, dword ptr [eax+4] EXCEPTION_RECORD: ffffffff -- (.exr 0xffffffffffffffff) ExceptionAddress: 0fb64979 (steamclient!CreateInterface+0x00041899) ExceptionCode: c0000005 (Access violation) ExceptionFlags: 00000000 NumberParameters: 2 Parameter[0]: 00000000 Parameter[1]: 0dfb0004 Attempt to read from address 0dfb0004 DEFAULT_BUCKET_ID: INVALID_POINTER_READ PROCESS_NAME: srcds.exe ERROR_CODE: (NTSTATUS) 0xc0000005 - The instruction at 0x%08lx referenced memory at 0x%08lx. The crashing srcds server is only running zblock mod. This is not a map issue. Just wondering if anyone else had these issues because its becoming annoying. thanks
