Master or Remote?

What is the difference between the master and remote server licenses? I am waiting for the linux version to be released and will purchase there but not sure what the two differentiate in.

Each system requires one master server, to which remotes can be added to.

 

 

 

The master server houses the webpages and database for the entire system, whereas the remotes simply run a monitor program that communicates back through the master server.

So for ventrilo hosting I would need the master which would work on multiple ventrilo servers (on the same single hosting server)?

You can put game and/or voice servers on a master if you wish.

 

 

 

For larger systems with many remote servers, we recommend that you dedicate a machine as the master server.
