Steven Crothers
I'm currently trying to run a few TCA instances on my local network (for development purposes) to work on some scripts to do various things. However when I start the monitor I get the error: "10/30/2009 6:29:44 AM : Monitor.New: Object reference not set to an instance of an object" Now I'm familiar with that error from the Master -> Monitor, usually means that the server's remote is hanging on something (usually). However in this case I'm a little lost, there is no verbosity to the error message. I have port 8888 forwarded correctly to the server on my LAN, however I'm not sure what exactly is going on here. Any help would be appreciated on how to run TCA in a NAT style setup.

ECF
Have you tried setting your router's IP address in the firewall ip field in the server details?

dimitrifrom31
oh found out the solution : primary IP must be local IP 192.168.0.1 in my case hardware firewall ip must be router IP. I had tried with my external IP in both fields but that didnt work. edit : in your network connection properties > TCP/IP parameters > advanced you gota add your external IP. You also have to add this IP in the server settings > manage Ip's in TCA to be able to create game servers.
