Guest NGS-Brett
yuck, 2008 is not stable. I know for me nothing was starting when i have 64bit you have to run the file to make the server a 32bit. Try that maybe?
FPSGAME
"you have to run the file to make the server a 32bit." What do you mean m8?
FPSGAME
The weired thing is: When I install Version 1.3 the server STARTS! however, When I try to update from 1.3 to any higher version beit 1.4, 1.5 1.6 and 1.7 the server dies. It seems to only run on version 1.3. This seriously has me getting stressed out, been trying to figure it out for 2 days now and tcadmin are not helping still awaiting response on my ticket. Puppy
I'm sure tcadmin will reply to your ticket, you have to remember they have a large client base, its based on priority, to which they supply you the panel, the troubleshooting should be down to the owner himself. (or herself) Have you checked the ports? I'm taking a shot in the dark but usually when i encounter a problem like that, a simple port change does the trick, though i could be wrong. FPSGAME
The Port Is Set To 1024, I just changed it to default 28960 and the answer is the same, server not responding. I have tried to manually exec via run.bat file using startup command line. As it can't be run via remote desktop I had to do it via KVM. I get the following Error: {SEE ATTACHMENT}
FPSGAME
Now Im getting this when I click Yes to previous promt: {SEE ATTACHED}
HIS-MOTHER
That second error is pretty self exlplanatory. It says no IWD files found in that location. If you do have the files in there and all of them I suggesst looking at folder permissions.
Steven Crothers
I "think" I know what the problem is. Export your game config, and post it here please, if I'm right your close, but no cigar.
FPSGAME
Config Attached: P.S Files (IWD) All of them ARE in the folder: C:\UserFiles\ADMIN\GameServers\TC75646610407755806310144 SCREENSHOT ATTACHEDCall of Duty World at War.txt

HIS-MOTHER
Also if it was running v1.3 without issue and it started after you patched it you might want to make sure the patch files you are using are correct and uncorrupt. Some patches are incremental. '
FPSGAME
Tried and tested m8. Used Touched file from gamerslifeline and also propper .exe patch files from author. No Change. I can only update from DEFAULT to 1.3 to get it to start. Trying to install the updates via 1.3 then 1.4 then 15 all the way to 1.7 does not change anything, Server times out and reports PID 0. HIS-MOTHER
and you fired the server up after each update.. Runs v1.3 update to 1.4 runs in 1.4. update to 1.5 etc..? Kind of a process of elimination to be sure its not one of the patches. FYI CODWaW V1.7 has 27 iwd files in the main not 20 like your SS.
FPSGAME
Hey Dude, The reason for 20 is simply because that screenshot was of the server with default version (1.0). Anyway So tried to figur eout what was casuing the issue with IWD not found, I saw that the folder main was read only for some odd reason, So I unticked that and also whilst there gave FULL permissions to everything across the board, System, Admin, Owner etc. Now I get this ERROR: "exceeded limit of 16 'font' assets" Also I have indeed tried doing incremental updates like I stated in previous posts. As a side note: My TCADMIN Version is Version 1.0.3400.26691 the reason why its not updated is because my owned master licence required me to pay $45 for updates & support. I paid that bill around 1 hour ago now and TCAdmin have not changed the status from Terminated to Active. Also we are now in the 6th hour yup thats right 6 HOURS!! without a reply from TCA to any of my 3 tickets. Thanks
FPSGAME
For Those Who Are Interested: I have extracted all patches from 1.1 to 1.7 copied files to userfiles game folder and the installation comes to 8.81 GB (9,470,425,587 bytes) Server still not responding. FPSGAME
PID with the above in mind is now Current PID: Current PID: 1084 however server is not responding. Exeeded Limit 16font error still happening
HIS-MOTHER
Try putting the .bat file inside the root directory and just have it contain this CoDWaWmp.exe +set dedicated 2 +set net_ip %serverip% +set net_port %serverport% +set sv_punkbuster "1" +exec server.cfg +map_rotate If it fires up it's probably a path issue. Editing the ip and port variable obviously

HIS-MOTHER
NOPE - See Attached That error is usually related to a mod error or a map rotation error. Try putting just one map in the cfg and use a different map. Those errors were supposedly fixed in some of the updates as well. Reinstall clean maybe? FPSGAME
If I reinstall clean I get all the previous errors. That error shows then the server is 1.7 updated 100% perfect correctly. I'll do the rotation think now
