Santino Cid
A 32bit OS will address a maximum of 4GB RAM. You will need to get the 64bit version and you should have all 8GB of your RAM.
FPSGAME
Hi Santino Cid, Thank for your reply but i'm afraid you are incorrect. If you look at the comparison guide on the Microsoft Website for Windows Server 2003 R2 Enterprise Edition which I have stated above that I have, enables you to go way past the 4GB and even 8GB. Windows Server 2003 R2 Enterprise Edition Maximum server RAM supported 32-bit: 64GB / 64-bit: 2TB http://www.directionsonmicrosoft.com/sample/DOMIS/update/2008/02feb/0208ws2plp_ch.htm Can anyone else help with this? trancemode
you can't use more than 3.5 or 4GB on 32 bit. You need 64 bit to fulfill those 8gb but I believe enterprise for window server 2008 can hold 64 GB but you must have PAE enabled.

To enable PAE just edit your boot.ini file and add /PAE If your not comfortable with editing the boot.ini use the built in editor bootconfig.exe I believe it is. I'll give this ago I was thinking of PXE but I've never had to do with Server 2003 Enterprise though when I was using that on multiple dedis. Anyways I'll give you guys an update once I check. FPSGAME
Hmm no boot.ini in Server 2008 and editor bootconfig.exe does not exist. bootcfg.exe is here but pulls a blank dos promt window up for 1 second and disappears.
{-SMAKU-}_MotorMouth
Because you need to use search and type cmd. Then right click and select "run as admin".

Also the boot.ini is a protected operating system file. You would need to set your views to include it. Make sure to rehide it when done so it is not altered by accident. Newer version are set to read only as well and permissions may need to be edited before the file can be.
