Puppy Posted December 20, 2009 Share Posted December 20, 2009 Hey Y'all I was bored so i just went through the forum, reading some posts, you know the whole boring "expanding my knowledge thing" and every other post looked like it went off topic and it was just flaming. Its like some testorsterone filled topics between GSPs, i remember a while back when i use to be in the industry (few years), when i used TCAdmin and the forums were nothing like this, now its like a "lets see how much we can bater the competition before they crack". No doubt this thread will turn into flaming also, and if you want to flame it, i will look foward to replying to it But dont take it as a "i want you to flame at this thread". ECF Posted December 21, 2009 Share Posted December 21, 2009 As we grow in client population we of course will be in a constant fight to keep the forums clean of flame wars etc.. However I cannot watch the forums 24/7 for every post made. However as users you can report a post at anytime by clicking the yellow triangle with the exclaimation mark in it. This emails a report of the post with a link so I can view it. Recently I have become a little more strict with rule enforcement as some people simply like to start shit and to flame others. I made a post about this in the announcement forums and I will stay true to the rules and start bannign users if they become repeat offenders. The best rule fo thumb is... If you have nothing useful to add to the thread then don't post. Of course some good ol' hazing is expected in any forum, but only in a friendly manner. If you find a post that brings our forum rules you can click the report post link and if it breaks our rules we will remove it. I would like to feel that our group has the common sense to refrain from posting personal attacks, but sometimes feeling get the best of us. After all we are only human.
