ECF
You can not stop them from changing that line. However, this is what the Game Monitor Plugin is for. System Settings>Plugin Manager>Game Monitor It will monitor the games to see if the slots and/or a private server has been changed to public. It allows you to send the client an email as well as disable the service if they do.
dimitrifrom31
a GREAT improvement for that feature would be to stop the server and after X times disable if user keeps restarting it without fixing the password.

ECF
a GREAT improvement for that feature would be to stop the server and after X times disable if user keeps restarting it without fixing the password. Clients request th feature the way it is so that they immediately can shut down the service. Admins receive an email anyways telling them that the client changed something so they know about it. I don't see a big benefit to what you are suggesting. It simply allows the client to keep doing it X amount of times more.

It simply allows the client to keep doing it X amount of times more. the benefit is that client gets warned by email and server only stopped then he can correct and restart server without admin having to manually enable which implicates admin being behind pc when it happens else client has to wait until admin checks his emails to get hsi server back. For those who tried to cheat the system well too bad for them but it mostly happens by mistake due to an upload of a premade config or a command line bad configured (+exec bad name resulting in executing default parameters without password for exemple). It happened a lot to me, not a big priority in the features I admit but I assume this is something simple to change thats why I felt like posting it. Could for exemple limit it to 3 times in a row server being stopped and after that being disabled.
