Admin-Nation-Servers
Is it possible to run more than 2 tcadmin web server sites going to the same master server? is there a way to add bulk ips to <add key="TCAdmin.WebServerIP" value="IP1" /> <add key="TCAdmin.WebServerIP" value="IP2" />
ECF
I would suggest putting in a ticket. Luis would be able to answer this. However I do not think it is possible.
Admin-Nation-Servers
I've successfully gotten 2 up but need 3 more. Lets see what Luis says
ECF
Why would you want more than one site. Just curious...
Mike
Unbranded reseller advertising, most likely
ECF
That was not the case with this request, however I will remind everyone that reselling using our software is against the software license and will get you licenses cancelled if you attempt it. Admin-Nation-Servers
No, we don't want to resell anything with TCadmin, if we wanted to do that we would've built a control panel ourselves in java. The reason behind having multiple sites is for our admin use, template development/integration and internal coding for our new site. If we had one TCadmin site and we screwed something up while coding, we don't want our game server clients to see messed up pages. Additionally we would like backup sites in case the production site fails or is attacked...
ECF
Understood. We simply have to be careful as many people try to resell in some way. I hope no one took offense to my post. It was for informational purposes only and was not directed toward anyone.

Easy solution would be to make a copy of your website folder on the machine its hosted on and under IIS create another TCA website running on a different port like 8080 so you admins can make their tests there. About backups you can then use syncback (freeware) to synchronize remotely your TCA files everyday (thats what I do) so if your machine fails or is attacked it takes a few minutes to build up a new website. I synchrnonize daily my TCA install folder (web, master and remote servers) and the few times I had to proceed to a reload of the OS it took me a couple of hours to get everything back up.
