srcdsfpsboost as a service

I know it's possible as I've had it done before with my previous dedi but for some reason I cannot do it this time.

 

We all know that on win2k8 an option to grab 1000FPS on HL2 based servers is running srcdsfpsboost.exe

 

As of right now I have it running while RDM is still logged in (my admin account). I would like to add srcdsfpsboost.exe as a service so it starts with tcadmin and I don't have to be logged into RDM.

 

Now I already tried the obvious necessary steps, created a folder for it in game files, created a config file, but no good. When I try starting it, it says there's no config file or something like that in the tcadmin log files. I don't get whether it's talking about a config for supported games or config for the executable itself, I'm lost

Just make a default config file for it. Call it dummyconfig.txt or something and leave it blank.

 

TCA will just put a blank file in the install folder but it wont be used.

even more simple : install hirestimer , select use for all users during setup and it will be instaleld as a service.
