GTA SA:MP Game Files

Hello, does anyone have GTA SA:MP game files? I can find MTA files but have only seen one SA:MP config file, which doesn't really work. I would much appreciate it if someone could point me in the right direction.

Thanks,

Mizfar

Thanks for the reply. I was stupid enough to call them games files. I meant config file. I had the game files already. Its the config file I need help with. I can manage a very simple one that starts and stops the server but I need one that can set up the rcon password and set the slots.

I don't particularly want to go down the route of having to create a python executed script to fetch the information from the database and place the info in it by before starting up the server.

That's why I was wondering if there is a method of making TCAdmin to edit the server.cfg file change the rcon password and server slots fields.

I would appreciate it if someone could shed some light on this.

Thanks,

Mizfar

Thanks for you reply, I can get it working now, the only problem I have is that once the server.cfg file is created the user can simply edit the server.cfg file and change the slots and port of the server. Is there is a system in TCAdmin which would check the server.cfg file before starting the service replacing the %slots% and %serverport% variables with the ones that the has been set through TCAdmin and not the ones that may have been set by the user.

I would appreciate any help on this matter. Thanks. :)

I have set up the Game Monitor so it disables the server and sends the admin an email if %slots% variable is changed, however it doesn't seem to do anything when a client changes the slots variable in their configuration file. TCAdmin seems to know where the variable as it is creating the slots variable when the game server/service is created, however it does not monitor the variable after that.

I was also wondering if there is a way for the TCAdmin game monitor to trigger the same response when other variables are changed such as %serverport%.

Aaah, okay its not a huge issue for me at the moment, but I would like to request you to add %serverport% variable as a variable that tcadmin monitors. Even better would be if we could select which variables are monitored by TCAdmin.

I think its important to monitor %serverport% as if left unchecked clients could potentially try and run the server on ports allocated to other client's servers. Which would make it quite chaotic. It could also be used as a method of hijacking other client's server's players and ninja-ing of ports.

Thanks. :)

if they change their port then their server will not answer to the TCA queries on original port and be considered as down so it gona be restarted/stopped depending on ur settings.

Set TCA to restart 1 or 2 times crashed servers adn then stop after 3 times not answering to queries if ur sworried about port changing.

For some games that are not supported by TCA it could be an issue but not for SAMP.
