gemcneill
I have a TS3 server that is working fine but having an issue since the sql needs to be updated. I have done this for all the other servers, but I cant for this one since I do not know what the super admin password is. It is saved in TCA but I cant find out how to get this password so I can use putty to update the sql queries on this server. Can anyone help? studeggle
I think your in trouble if you didn't store it. I had one I lost the password on so I had to exchange the password with a known but thats a tricky thing to talk someone through.

Kriszx
Shut it down and add serveradmin_password=sapass to the commandline and start it.
gemcneill
Ah thanks. I am assuming I can leave it as such and then change it later if I need to but I can never know what the password was before? George
Kriszx
There are a few posts on how to extract the SA pass on the TS forums, but this way was easier, you can use a pass you want. Just make sure to change the pass in TCA.
