marks
Hello, I would like to know if there is some way to limit "sub admins" login access. I know you can limit it by IP but a lot of people do have dynamic IP address, etc. I would like to know if there some other type of security technology that might work with tcadmin. Maybe some type of certificate technology or something on those lines. Even if its a 3rd party plug-in. Thanks

marks
How would this work under tcadmin? How would you able to set this security in tcadmin to limit a sub admin to X record? Thought tcadmin only allowed IPs "Allowed IPs:"
dimitrifrom31
how about using one of your machines to set up a proxy and allow only that IP to connect to TCA? Just an idea
marks
Even if I setup a proxy server and only allow that ip in tcadmin for the "sub admins". How would i limit the proxy server access? What type of security technology is there for proxy server to limit access? Really it can not be a ip based technology as ip change all the time. It would have to be some type of certificate technology or something no those lines. Where it is computer based. E.g. hardware info, computer name, etc.
ECF
How about IPSEC? I know that we use it to allow access to some of our systems from certain IPs only. And I know it will take a domain name such as the service that I mentioned above.
marks
If tcadmin could handle domain or ip address limits then the client computer could just have dyndns setup on it.
ECF
"If" being the keyword there We are not adding new festures to version 1 any longer since we are working hard on Version 2.
marks
IPSEC, will limit all access not just the sub admins. Then it would force all users under tcadmin to have the security installed. Also, is there any kind of ETA on version 2? Is there a list of features and ideas that people can vote on? Any examples of the new features in version 2? Any sign ups for alpha or beta testing? Last but not lease, is there any chance that version 2 could have domain or ip limits under a user?
ECF
No information that we can release. But V2 will be customer driven. Meaning we will be looking for input for features to add to it.
