Moving TCAdmin database from one provider to another

I am considering changing providers. Right now I have a dedicated server with the TCAdmin datacenter edition and I'd be renting a new server with the datacenter edition installed on it. Is there a way for me to export the database (currently in MS Access format) and then import it into the new installation on the new box?

Yes, this can be done. You will need RDP access though.

This is how I originally migrated my database. Just get a copy of it, and there are plenty of threads/documents to help you import/convert the access database and get yourself going again.

You will need to make a copy of the TCAdmin.mdb file which is the access database. Also you will need to make copies of your GameInstalls and ClientFiles folders.

 

These will need to be moved to the new server.
