TCAdmin has built in FTP and when a server is created the user the server is assigned to can use any FTP client they wish to login via FTP to upload files.

The info for FTP would be the client's username and password to login to the panel.

doesn't seem to work

error:

Status:	Connecting to 184.568.246.26:21...
Status:	Connecting to 184.568.246.26:21...
Error:	Connection timed out
Error:	Could not connect to server
Status:	Waiting to retry...
Status:	Connecting to 184.568.246.26:21...

FTP: 184.568.246.26:21 <-- that is the port correct?

username: *****

password: *****

port 21, nothing

does the server have to actually be on?

i also clicked on game services and then clicked on FTP: 184.568.246.26:21.

said error page loading meaning its not setup?

ok i got the port open, but now gives me this error:

Response:	200 Command okay.
Command:	PASV
Response:	227 Entering Passive Mode (184,129,219,67,15,133).
Command:	LIST
Response:	552 Requested file action aborted.
Error:	Failed to retrieve directory listing
Error:	Connection closed by server

every things ok pass and username, then it just says Error: Failed to retrieve directory listing.

add monitorconsole.exe and monitorservice.exe to the firewall exceptions.

If using win firewall also go to its advanced options and select FTP (port 21) that fiexed the issue for me even tho I already had the port 21 open in normal settings.

These files are in your

C:\Program Files\TCAdmin\Monitor directory not in your windows\system32.

You'll find them there. :)

ok i got it working its all running smooth

just one little thing, when i try to install mani admin plugin or eventscripts the files contain .dll and the server wont let me upload those type of files

it says:

Critical file transfer error after transferring 262,144 bytes in 1 second

there a place where i go and edit to allow these files to download?

System Settings>Plugin Manager>FTP

You can edit the disallowed extensions and remove .dll from the list. However this is a big security risk to allow .dll files to be uploaded.

What you should really do is use the mod installer feature.

still wont let me upload .dll files

Admin Home > System Settings > Plugins > FTP Configuration

Admin Home > System Settings > Plugins > FileMan Configuration

Restricted Extensions: took out dll and exe, still wont let me upload

sorry, that i am asking on how to do a lot of things

You need to restart your Master Server Monitor program for the changes to take effect.

** I would STRONGLY suggest you do NOT allow .exe files to be uploaded to your server. Your server will get rooted in a matter of hours if you do***
