KevinJ
I was looking at ordering some new dedicated servers and was wondering what the importance of upgrading the NIC card from onboard was as well as memory options. For instance on the Dell PowerEdge R210: On Dual Ranked UDIMM (I don't see an option for RDIMM), they have 1066MHz and 1333MHz. I'd assume the 1333 option would be better? Is there any performance benefit to having 2 4GB modules vs 4 2GB modules? What about the on-board dual gigabit adapter versus the Intel Gigabit ET Dual Port NIC or Broadcoms? Thank you for your time.
