Been settign up 100 tic servers , i installed the hl timer on dedicated server , updated the configs to a 100 tic cfg ,that i got from tca admin forums.

 

First question

 

Is it normal that when i create 100 tick servers and console opens on dedicated server showing the server info and it show permenetly is there away to hide the console ?

 

2nd question

 

At the top of the console on the dedicated server its says 512fps doesnt go above this does this mean the server is only 512 fps i thought 100 tick servers were 600fps ??

#1:

You should only see the HL2 console opening and remaining open if you are on the RDP session via console. Unless i'm misunderstanding your question, which is possible.

 

#2:

There are many threads here that talk about the interupt latency, clocks, hi precision timers, and a buncha other crap that correlates with this number. Basically, the FPS that is returned is a measurement of latency gettimeofday() x 2 and subtracts itself.

 

Again there are many threads in here which monk will more clearly explain that horseshit

 

If your just wondering if thats normal, then yes it is.
