Tazz
Hey, do anyone know any good Design Companys or templates for sale? i am currently looking at buying from http://paytondesigns.com/
ECF
They look like they do some nice work judging by their portfolio. Just be careful to get a set timeline up front and have some form of financial penalty in place if they do not meet their deadlines. Many people here can tell you from experience that "some" companies create great designs but lack in customer support and take much longer than initially planned. I am sure some others will post some other design companies here as well.
lpgservers
If I'm not mistaken that is the guy associated with a number of different cheat/hack sites for a number of different games. Also associated with some that have to do with the teamspeak takeovers and ddos attacks. I'd really find out more about that company first. WYD-KEN
Looking at their portfolio they did fazewire.com. You can contact kyle@fazewire.com and see how his site went.

As that is border line defamatory if it's un-true. On a side note payton is a very reputable designer on WHT.

lpgservers
I'm pretty damn certain if that makes it any better. In fact, I'd say I'm 99% certain. I'll do some digging and find out but I'd place the bet and I'm not the betting type. I hope this isn't a carryover from me asking if XFactorServers is a corporation or not on that other forum or from the mailer?

It seems you are trying to antagonize other providers, it will get you nowhere and we learned the hard way. One thing I learned from Jon B, connections and relationships mean everything when it comes to business. Hope you take it for what it's worth. On a side note payton is a very reputable designer on WHT. I have to agree with Derek on this one. He is very reputable on WHT forums. He also helped me with our company's WHMCS integration and he is very helpful and knowledgeable on his work. Payton is a great guy.
ECF
Maybe a case of mistaken identity?
lpgservers
Who have I tried to antagonize? I simply looked up your GSP since the legal address is listed as Washington and was going to use the SEC (Secretary of State) listing to show that other kid the credentials behind a corporation. You weren't listed so I simply asked where it was setup as that. If it's not, then I'm not antagonizing you and your just simply falsely advertising the company and that wasn't my mistake but yours then. However, again, you responded in that thread and you have it listed on your signature everywhere so I was doing that kid a favor to show him an example of it. Enough on that though. On this Payton, it very well could be a mistaken identity as I stated the first time I could be and to just check out the business. The web design business as a whole has a whole laundry list of bad businesses much the same as the GSP market. I'm still pouring through old contacts who know this guy first hand that I was referring to and trying to find out for sure one way or the other. I find it strangely ironic that the site lists 2007 when that is when the person of whom I'm referencing started into the same market. There were more things than that, for example, our designs got you covered. that is nearly identical to the statement this person would make in reference to creating signatures to people. None of what I have including the name is proof positive, it's just one of those strange feelings where you say I'd rather say something and be wrong then not say something and had been right. It also isn't defamatory, slander, nor libel since I never said it is that person and I'm still not saying it is because I don't have the proof/information to back that up. It was merely an opinion to look into it. Sorry for the rant, all done with it. I'll respond back tomorrow hopefully one way or the other and if proof positive then it will be with something that is concrete.
adamnp
It's just safe to say that when purchasing anything over the interwebz, or the iNetz0rz, *OR* in your everyday life you should *ALWAYS* research first. As Kevin stated, assure that all underlying terms, and expectations are properly discussed and written PRIOR to any work starting and what monetary implications will occur should said expectations not be properly executed in a timely business like manner as discussed. If you don't, you more than likely will get ripped off, intentional or not. And to comment on what Derek stated, definately building business relationships/networking is the number 3 critical factor in business aside from cash flow, and proper management, do it right and you'll be soaring. Do it wrong, and well -- We know the outcome there. Always keep in mind though that it is human nature to be vindictive, and when paths cross in a different light, it can also have the same negative vibe on a company. Payton Designs
If I'm not mistaken that is the guy associated with a number of different cheat/hack sites for a number of different games. Also associated with some that have to do with the teamspeak takeovers and ddos attacks. I'd really find out more about that company first. I joined this site after running into numerous hits from this URL and Im happy I did. I am in NO way associated with cheat/hack sites, ddos attacks, or any of the above. I run a legitimate business and strive to provide all my clients with the highest satisfaction. I've worked extremely hard over the past few years to get where I am and I won't let anyone mistake me for someone else. If you are interested in knowing more about me, don't hesitate to contact me. Thanks to everyone who could vouch for me! I do most of my business over at WHT.
tjmartin
We personally have just used Payton Designs with our WHMCS/Joomla integration and it turned out remarkable. We are very happy with his work and his price. I have never heard of him prior to the work he did for us, but I reviewed some of his past work and figured it was a risk we were willing to take. Any purchase online is a risk anyways, right? Anyways...he did good by me and I am actually consulting in more work for our tcadmin. For anyone looking for custom work, I would recommend Payton. There was a little incident that went over on WHT about Payton copying other people designs or stripping out a clantemplate. but i don't know what the outcome was. GodFather
I have a lot of contacts to freelance web developers and designers, just get in contact with me sometime and I can refer you to some awesome ones. Anywho, I have a good friend that's used Payton and he was not very pleased, his work is not bad by any means, coming from him. Just he does not listen very well to his customer (so he said) http://www.depechehosting.com/ It's not bad, but not what he exactly wanted, just saying . All designers have their own feel and similarities, but when your designs look nothing more than color changes... idk about you No offense

I had clean banners on the design and the dropdown was modified. As far as the client told me, he was 100% happy with the design, if he wasnt, he would have told me before I coded it. You can view my portfolio to view my work, it speaks for itself.
bullfrog3459
GF and Payton, your opinions are yours and yours only. One word against another only creates cat fights and whos got the bigger <insert word here> syndrome. As far as Payton, i have checked out their work before, as we considered it, but i stuck to in-house coding it and making it my own for my websites. I just need my graphics designer to hurry up and get the graphics done so i can cut and layout.
