Jesse
What is the difference between clanservers changing to gameservers and stealthservers changing to game-servers ?
Feltz
wtf I actually agree with Puppy on this one. I am concerned! you think if clanservers back then had the biggest competition GSP named gameservers they would have got a domain called game-servers and renamed to use it I doubt it bah im done replying its a silly move but whatever. I have to agree with Puppy on this
Jesse
I guess you could make a www.gameservers2.com too... yup. Right along those lines
bullfrog3459
Quite a bit really if you think about it. In my opinion if your company cannot be unique enough to have your own name instead of going off of someone else's hard earned name then you are frankly stealing IMHO. Game-Servers is only one character from gameservers.com and frankly is trying to mimic and get more and better reputation because they have a 'game servers' name or url. I am glad that you are choosing to go about a different path, but everyone should have their own idea, own plan, own uniqueness, and not trying to mimic someone else's idea in that sense. I mean what makes Mohawk-Host different from Velocity(sorry Jon, just stating for reference)? What Makes Velocity different from gameservers.com? What makes Game servers different from UGSC? Its the unique names, the unique offerings, prices, support, and general satisfaction of the clients you have earned. We may all support and do the same games, but its how we present ourselves to the public buying our services that makes the difference.

Right along those lines Jesse is right on target, why don't we all change our domain names to gamservers2.com, gameservers3.com, gameservers4.com, until we all have a gameservers domain name. dimitrifrom31
He really isn't advertising/selling anything, more of "hey discuss our new name change". I understand that some of you could care less about our domain name change, but for those others I just wanted to announce that Stealth Servers has changes it's domain to http://game-servers.com, this is the first step towards changing our entire company name and strategy. Anyways for those that would like to read more about it, please go here: http://game-servers.com/newdomain.php he never asked to discuss it, as I said this thread was just hijacked which is against the forum rules and I doubt any1 in here likes when his threads get hijacked. I just thought I had to remind it and an admin should delete all the posts but #1.

If they start posting stuff you don't like you just add them to the topic ban list and all of their posts are removed and they can't post in it anymore. Btw, the first inappropriate post was #10 by you can probably guess who lol.

I mean really what do you expect from a forum full of game server providers ? http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Internet_forum An Internet forum, or message board, is an online discussion site. People participating in an Internet forum may cultivate social bonds and interest groups for a topic made from the discussions.

ECF
Actually this post is in the wrong forum to begin with. It should have been posted in the Off Topic forum not here. As for the flaming... there is always going to be flaming in any forum as people are human and have differing opinions. Just remember. Opinions are like assholes... everyone has one One observation I have made is it seems like only the smaller GSPs are the ones that flame others. We have some very large GSPs as clients and they do not post here. And if they do it is not to flame others. Ever wonder why? Probably beacause they are more mature and have a business to run rather than the time to surf forums and flame others. Remember that every post you make reflects back onto your business and your personal self.
dimitrifrom31
there are forums to discuss but this forum is for advertisement only.It is clearly stated that you may post only questions directly related to the good/services advertised and not post anything negative. So far you ppl did all the contrary, if you wana debate about company names open ur own thread in off-topic forum for exemple.

The correct place for this thread would have been in the Off-Topic section this is not an advertisement. If he had decided to sell the StealthServers domain name then it would have been an advertisement. But you are correct this is not the place to be discussing this so I will stop and make a new thread in the Off-Topic section.

SickPuppy
Stealth Servers has changes it's domain to http://game-servers.com, this is the first step towards changing our entire company name and strategy. Anyways for those that would like to read more about it, please go here: http://game-servers.com/newdomain.php So you copy the name of the largest GSP in the industry then you just dump TCAdmin and have the nerve to post it on their forums, do you have no shame at all. By the way the new web design looks sweet. Are you selling off the TCAdmin licenses when you implement the new game control panel.

Probably because they are more mature and have a business to run rather than the time to surf forums and flame others. Well that is one opinion. What I have noticed is the large GSPs, with the exception of Hypernia, never post unless they need something. It is the small GSPs that are always posting solutions to the problems other small GSPs are having. And yes a few of us like to do a little forum flaming, but we never refuse to help each other. In my opinion the large GSPs don't post because they don't care about what happens to the small guy, which I believe is a reflection of how much they care about the customer. For them it is all about the money.
