Error while creating game server

Recommended Posts

OK, I have successfully created 2 Counter-Strike game servers for the ADMIN user, which show up in the public servers list in STEAM.

However - and I'm not sure if I'm doing this right - I added a new user called TEST and then went and added another Counter-Strike game server in the same way as I did for Admin, but it then emails me with the following:

<table border="0" align="center" width="90%" cellpadding="3" cellspacing="1"><tr><td class="SmallText">Quote:</td></tr><tr><td class="quote">

GSAutomation.Processes.CreateGameServer: Object reference not set to an instance of an object.

</td></tr></table>

It is copying the files across, but is not updating the config file with the hostname (which the others have done).

I'm sure I have missed something out, but I can't think what?

Any help appreciated.

Thanks,

Paul

Don't actually know why I bother posting this stuff as it always seems to be something I've done wrong!!!!

Anyway, I suppose its useful for other people browsing the forums.

I fixed the problem. I had added all my servers IPs into TCAdmin, but the server had only been configured for 2 of them, so when it came to try and use the 3rd IP it could allocate it.

D'oh!
