CS 1.6 Server not showing in Server Browser

Hey Gents,

 

Anyone with experience with Counter Strike 1.6 I am just having the weirdest issue and its driving me crazy looking for some assistance. We have a customer who cannot see their server on the list of servers.

 

I have spent tons of time trying to figure out what the issue is I have added some lines to the server.cfg to allow it to communicate with the Steam Servers and the console does say its connected successfully.

 

The things I have tried so far.

Different Port

Added the location sv_region 5 tried sv_region 255

added the IP's to communicate with the steam servers

 

Has anyone had an issue like this?

The server name is PrimaryTarget.com or PRIMARYTARGET.COM

 

Have the server.cfg handy other than the rcon and private passes? also being i only see three primarytarget.com named servers 2 in sydney and 1 in the us, im going to assume the us one?

Wait you see 2 servers in the server list named primarytarget.com ??

There shoudl be 2 in Sydney and one in the US so if you see them in the list then the customer is doing something wrong.

 

Of course I personally dont have the game so couldnt just look myself lol

Just download HLSW. You can view them from there without the game installed.

I use HLSW all the time it shows up fine in HLSW but he claims they cant see it in the server list.

Can you confirm are you saying that you do see the servers in the list for CS 1.6 ?? Or anyone else who has the game

give Ip:Port/server name/map if you want some1 to confirm

PrimaryTarget.com is the name PRIMARYTARGET.COM basically any CS 1.6 servers that show one of those 2 names 2 in Australia and one in US.

 

Customers can join by IP no problem but cant find it in the server list. Can you locate it in the server list??

i was able to, but then again i have the game and i have 255 set for my server browser, so i see all of the servers. Game-Monitor also sees the server and it has to see it in the steam list or they cannot pull information from it.

Ok, Thank you I will at least forward that to the customer and tell them the servers are in the list look harder
