changing ts3 ip

i have been given a new ip , so i thoguht i would add ts3 on the ip so if i ever need the ts3 servers moved to another box this would make it easier.

 

My problem i have changed as much of the settings as possible to the new ip , but i can still connect to the ts3 servers on the old ip , is there a fix or some help on the isssue . or is this quite normal.

its not clear, you mean your server is binding to the old AND the new IP ?

you want it to bind only on 1 IP ?

If so then add "voice_ip your_ip_here" as command line argument

Yes i want ts3 to use only the new ip that i have.

I try that many thanks on that.

 

Is there a way to brand TS3 automatically. so everyone is created as rickys ts3.com etc and no way of client changing it unless they buy unbranded , thanks for your help so far dimitri.

you can edit your database to make all your servers created with default settings of your choice then deny edit of those settings via permissions. you can check ts3 doc for that even open a support ticket at triton to get helped.
