ECF
This setting forces windows to release unused memory when it is not being used. Normally a game will load and take X amount of memory and never release it unless you stop the gameserver. With the setting on it releases the unused memory every so often. Then the gameserver can take it back as needed. A word of caution. Some games will work fine with this setting on such as the Q3 engine. However newer games don't seem to like it, and it may cause lag etc... By trial and error you should be able to find out which games can run with it on. shawn
Just priority, I'd use High...don't use Real-Time, I had problems with the Windows system locking up frequently when I ran the game servers under Real-Time priority.
shawn
Also you said low memory worked well with COD4? Under what conditions are you testing this? I had bad results with COD4
