Demo Login?

Once again tried to search the forums and came across too big of a result to thumb through. So if any one knows if this has been brought up link me. If not assist me? :p

Basically what I want is to offer a demo log in for potential customers to show them what my game panel would offer them. Same idea TCAdmin has on their home page. Also the ability to stop them from starting, stopping ,deleting ,editing etc any thing and a pop up saying this feature is disabled in demo.

Another thing I was looking at was hypernia game panel and noticed that with default cfg files you can alter it in a way to make it more "noob" friendly. I believe it is called Config Editor instead of Text Editor. Having a hard time getting that on the go as well, what is the format used to create options for this. For example If I wanted to add a few things like "change server name"

or friendly fire off or on etc.

Thanks for your time :D

Just create user: demouser password: demouser

For question2

simply go to "default config files" under the relevant game then to the config file you want to set up a config editor for, then select "config editor" then selct "add" and start adding the various drop boxes, fill in the blanks, on/off, etc.

There is no fast creation of a config editor and no instructions that are likely to be any clearer then the manuals. You just need to play with it after reading the tcadmin manual and get a feel, no fancy codes or anything just a case of coming to a full understanding of what each value and box will look like to a customer.

Ok and for the part where the user can not start the server , stop server, restart , run a steam update, edit the files , ETC And when they try and do so the message "This feature not allowed in Demo " Pops up . How would I prevent that, Also this may sound dumb but tcadmin manual where to find ?

just create demouser with pass demouser and its permissions will be restricted.

As for the manual check in the tcadmin client area.
