Guest
I have several webhosting acconts with numerous providers. I dont actually host my site from my Dedicated server, instead I have rented space from Dreamhost.com I need to install the installer on there? Is that correct? Is this a problem since I realy only have FTP access to it. I don't want to setup a webserver on my gamesserver if possible, nor if possible do I want to start another hosting plan. ECF
You would need either to install the website to your server or grab a hosting account from us. We cannot install to hosted web accounts.
Guest
Okay, I can just create a webserver on my box I supose. I doubt that it is very Bandwidth intensive?
Hogie
We run it on our first teamspeak box right now, I just wouldn't put it on the same box as games...
ECF
There would be a slight increase in RAM usgage due to IIS, but if you plan on using the Access database, you should hardly notice any type CPU usage. now if you go with MYSQL, then you will most likely not want to place games on the same server. GameConnectors
When we first started up we had Teamspeak and TCAdmin (MySQL) on our master server and we also ran 4 or 5 game servers with no lag and no reported problems. It was a dual Xeon 3Ghz with 2Gb RAM, so nothing really special.
