Hi,

 

We've recently added a remote server to a master, and it installes games no worries.

but for some reason when we run the Steam Update it says.

 

Starting the Steam Update...

****Don't close this window. If you close this window the update will still be executed on the server****

 

 

Stopping the game server...

Game server has been stopped.

********************************** ERROR **********************************

File does not exist: ./HldsUpdateTool.exe

I've checked the game folders and they do infact show hldsupdatetool.exe, it works on the master - but not on the remote.

you need to install the HldsUpdateTool.exe tool in the C:\Program Files\TCAdmin Control Panel\Monitor (32 bit) folder or C:\Program Files (x86)\TCAdmin Control Panel\Monitor (64 bit) folder of the remote also.

and add it to your firewall exceptions

How do you download the game files to the remote server I gona use my remote server for game install and hosting.

The game files go on your master or FTP server. Then when a game is installed it will be FTP'ed over to your remote.
