COD2 Support

Hi all,

 

I have added cod2 to the supported games list and have generated the config correctly. Unfortunately I can not get the game to appear on the game type list in 'game create'.

 

I have noticed that the zip COD2 folder under 'program files/game installs/COD2' has 3 folders but there are empty. Do i need to install the game files onto the server? if so where do i get these from?

Yes you have to upload the cod2 gamefiles into the 'program files/game installs/COD2' directory. After that you will be able to create cod2 gameservers.

 

If you don't have the gamefiles or gamedisk you will have to buy it.

i have the game from my own disk (already installed on my computer) but as you have to enter a key does this mean I am unable to install on it the server?

Dedicated server doesn't require a "cd-key" to start
