Client Account Security Question

I am just wondering...

 

How are client user passwords stored in TCadmin? Are they encrypted in an md5 string as user accounts in forum software are, or are they just stored plaintext where whoever has access to the TCadmin install can see them?

They are encrypted with a one way hash and use multiple algorithms to come to that final hash I believe.

So they could not be just read by someone with access to the program's database then, correct?
