Blur
Hey guys and girls. Having a few issues with the new orange box patch and updating our CSS servers. Everything appears to update just fine using the HLDS update tool but when the server(s) are restarted i get the error message: "your server is out of date. Please update and restart" I've chucked the -verify_all command in. Run with administrative privileges and installed the servers from scratch still to no avail. Just wondering if there are any solutions to the problem i'm not aware of or if its a common error at the moment with the new release. Blur. icekohl
Check this thread guys. http://clientforums.tcadmin.com/showthread.php?t=8827 They changed the folder css is running in. You will need to update your services accordingly. It's painful especially if you consider having to move all the .CFGs. To top it off this may be a temporary thing and you'll have to redo everything in the near future.

Blur
Thanks for the reply guys, got this sorted yesterday night. For all those that can't be bothered clicking links, the patch creates a new directory in the install folder named CSS. - This requires you to reconfigure your service settings in supported games so that each new service installed will point to the correct directory: Relative Executable = CSS/srcds.exe Working Directory: /CSS. Unfortunately you will have to go through each users services and manually edit these values. You will more then likely need to copy across Maps & the CFG folder so any custom content is not lost.
