Call of Duty 1 Lag/Jitter

Hi guys,

 

Does anyone get any Lag / Jitter problems when hosting a COD1 server?

No Mods, Vanilla Settings, Default Configs. Server 2008 OS Quadcore Dedi.

Sounds like a network issue, or a config problem. COD1 is pretty low end as far as games go. It should run excellent on the machine you specified above.

That's what I thought ECF. I checked our network and everything is fine. I am getting a 9ms response time on average to our servers. No reports from other customers, just COD1 customers complaining of "small lag spikes" I have checked to see if the problem is on all our game servers for COD1 and the jitters can be seen in all.

Do you host games other than COD 1? And if so, can you see the lag in them as well?
