"Error: ConnectFailure (Connection refused)"

Just logged into my dedicated server which I use to run a few Call of Duty servers after noticing one is offline. Noticed there's an update, clicked to update tcadmin and now I get the error "Error: ConnectFailure (Connection refused)". All game servers display the status "unknown", tried rebooting the dedicated server. Error shows on both "Check for Updates" and "About" pages of TCAdmin. I can ping tcadmin.com fine from the server.

any ideas what could cause this?

I've been through the error log (/home/tcadmin/Logs/Web/):
