Slow remote server

Hey,

 

I have a master server which is hosted in france and a remote server which is in usa, pennsylvania.

 

The problem is that the control panel is quite slow when accessing the remote server. FTP directly listing takes about 5 seconds, other tasks take longer than I would like it to.

 

I'm wondering if there is any way to speed this up to bring it closer to the speed of servers hosted on the master server itself.

 

I have enabled the skip resolving in my.ini

I have also got direct database connection enabled.

Whats the latency like between the boxes?

 

It's taking time because the information is being pulled from the remote to the master, then to you.

I got a ping of 77 from the remote server to the master server.
