khjb007
which takes less system resource to run? I installed mysql server and it's taking up roughly 50MB ram. I haven't tried database yet but why is it not recommended? Does it require more system resource and take up more ram than mysql server?
ECF
When you say "database", that's a generic term... Did you mean Access Database by chance? If you did, the Access database takes nothing to run, it's simply one file. However for large systems with numerous remotes we suggest using MYSql. khjb007
is it possible to convert Access Database into MySql database? and which database uses less system resource to run?
ECF
Yes, Luis has a conversion program that can convert the database over. The Access database uses the least as it is simply a datafile vs. running a whole MYSql server. Access uses nothing as far as system resources.
