Failed to Download Steam Files

I'm trying to download the steam game files, TF2 to be specific but I keep getting the following errors.

Any tips would be appreciated.

 

I'm running CentOS 6 and I have double checked the requirements.

I can no run it but I get this when downloading:

Valve released a TF2, DoD:S and HL2:DM update at 9:01pm so their content servers are getting hammered. Which is why your download failed.
