Minecraft ip/port start up script

Hi,

 

I have been searching everywhere for this and i have had no luck finding it for linux.

 

What i want is a linux start up/command line for minecraft based games that will launch the game under a preassigned ip and port so the user can change the server.properties file contents as much as they like without stealing or changing to other users ip/port.

What you can do is use the Rule Detection in Query Monitoring for Minecraft and set it to

 

server-ip <> $[service.IpAddress]

server-port <> $[service.GamePort]

 

It won't fix the problem but it'll stop the server if they change the IP or Port.

I have tried that but during my tests it doesent work. Is there anyway to allow the config editor but not allow the text editor? that way i can block the server.properties and just run the editor instead?
