need a bit of help here I rent a cod waw server from A GSP they set up a new codwaw I could not join it diffent vision so I ask them to update it by the patchs 1.2 /1.3/ 1.4/ 1.5/ 1.6/ 1.7 they said that was done and one of there admins jumpt on the server but still I tried and says the same thing I have a up to date game 1.7.1263 and some of my friends even tried to jump on same thing now the GSP have posted this to me in support

(We use the latest Steam version which is 1.7.1263 where your located should not matter. The reason I asked where you got your files from is sometimes the older cd versions have compatibility issues with the current steam versions)

so if I am right here if they reinstalled the game files for this game and steam would this fix the probliom ! as if you have a game on steam it patchs the game for you but I have cd versions not from steam and I can jump on evey server in the master server list

They said they were using the latest files from STEAM, so they did not use a CD to install the Game Server.

I would contact them again to see if they can help you since only they can correct this issue on their end.

This was a weird issue I could join the server and servers in the list using the steam version, so we bought the cd version patched it up and everything is working for them now. We had similar issues a few years back using a digital copy of swat4 instead of the cd version. Gotta love older games that still work....
