Admin-Nation-Servers
Thought this could be an interesting read if you have yet seen it... http://localhost.re/ It appears this billing software is currently unsafe.
Raizio
Interesting read indeed. But the question is, the guy @ localhost.re first giving these exploits to WHMCS or first posts them on his website?
Dennis
He's releasing them on the website first. When WHMCS finds an exploit on his website, they patch it. It's stupid that they aren't going through the code and fixing everything... As soon as they got a patch for one exploit, he is releasing a new. Raizio
That is somewhat bad practice for a security guy. Isn't normally the way to contact the company first, if they don't do anything with it; THEN put it out to the public.
Dennis
I think he's trying to prove a point to WHMCS.
Bubka3
I think he's trying to prove a point to WHMCS. Comparing they asked for help, I think he got their attention.
proclan
You would think since they merged with cPanel they would have already started an audit.
Dennis
It seems like localhost and WHMCS are working on a solution together. Finally WHMCS is realizing that localhost tried to prove a point! http://localhost.re/p/whmcs I really hope they (or someone else) will go through the code and close up most of the exploits... diablo1675
As a WHMCS user this is concerning. I'll make an enquiry, although I feel it won't do much.
