spy
Hello there, I have a fresh installation of CentOS 6.5, and i Have just installed Tcadmin on it. After i installed the control panel, i went to go and install Counter-Strike Global Offensive Server, The installation work perfectly without any errors. But for some reason the server won't start, i'm getting this following error message Status:Running (pid 0) So thinking it might be a permission issue, i tried running the server as root And that works fine. But obviously i don't want to run the server as root, so how can i make the control panel start the csgo server ?
Raizio
Seeing as I have windows; I am not sure if this is an option in Linux version too. At the main service window, go to Actions; here you can do Repair, this sets permissions correctly for the TCA user.
Dennis
Run the server as tcagame. We had the same problem. This is because half of the files are marked as executables, and if you've restricted linux executables, these files cannot be used by the control panel. Believe me when I say it's fucked up, lol. Even configs are marked as executables for some reason I don't know. But if you start the server as tcagame via SSH, you would be able to see which files are needed for it to start.
