Migration - need to reload server OS, looking to see how to import TCAdmin

Hi,

 

Is there any way to easily do a moveover of existing TCAdmin servers from say, a backup, back into a new environment? Don't want to start from scratch here if not needed.

 

Any ideas here are appreciated.

It's pretty easy.

 

Make sure you already are running the latest update.

Backup DB, user and game directories, and any theme changes.

 

On new machine do fresh install of TCA2 connecting to copy of DB you backed up.

Copy all game and user files into same directory structure as on old machine.

 

Run GameTools -> Verify / Repair accounts

Where's the SQLite DB stored typically? It's been a long time since I've had to do anything with TCadmin besides add games, honestly.

it is usually in program files/tcadmin/Sql or something like that. I use mysql so cannot remember exactly, just navigate to your tcadmin folder
