  1. http://www.ageia.com/drivers/drivers.html Is down, can't get their drivers. GG! Anyone have a copy?
  2. Yes for FFOW they have a required command line parameter PingRedirectIP= that needs to have the primary ip value. I am requesting on their private hosting forum that they find a way to not require this, but if you can put it into a quick update patch would resolve the problem as well. Cheers.
  3. %primaryip% Is there any such variable that will return the primary (e.g. 1st) IP on the box?
  4. hey vet, %primaryip% doesn't work. Is it working for you?
  5. FYI the query protocol was created by Kaos Studios from scratch (way after the game was released, lol?) so I don't think any GS variations are going to work. Luis will need to get their spec and build the query type based on what they did I think. Let me know if you need help getting in touch with them.
  6. It is possible to host a game from the retail binaries, but it won't stay in the server list in game due to a bug. So it's basically not worth doing. Game's been out almost 3 weeks, no dedicated binary yet.
  7. Looks like we are right back to square 1 with all the same problems UT3 had happening again with Frontlines. It won't run as a service, -nohomedir doesn't work, -multihome doesn't work, blah blah blah... Nice try KAOS Studios you guys are retards. What is wrong with game publishers these days?
  8. Doesn't work. Query is failing saying the server is not responding, then it shuts the game off. Looks like query port is wrong in the ini. Going to try 7778 instead of 7787 like 2k3/2k4 uses.
  9. Seems they are going to make things difficult for us: http://wiki.unrealadmin.org/UT3_query_protocol
  10. I think the problem may be with UT3. I guess it doesn't have a consistent query port, but instead randomly assigns a port each time it starts up. Not really sure how the server could ever be queried in that case (i.e. for getting info in the in-game list). Let's hope Epic comes to their senses and makes a standard query port.
  11. No Luck with Doom 3 either. The guys who make qstat claim that UT3Demo uses Gamespy 4 query protocol and have it working with qstat so I'm a bit surprised it is not working.
  12. Thanks for pointing that out. After setting UT3 Demo to the Gamespy 4 query type I got a lot of "game is not responding" alerts and my servers were being shut down. Anyone have any suggestions?
  13. Can you give me a little help in doing this? I don't have any of those games in my list so I can't look into those configs for the info. I suppose I need to manually edit the game config file for this, please let me know where I can find more info. Thanks, Noel
  14. Seems that UT3 uses GameSpy query protocol 4. When setting up the UT3 profile is there anyway to tell it to use this query protocol so that the server can talk to the games? Are there any existing games that use this protocol that can be selected in the Game Compatibility drop down? Also I think it may be a moot point because of the servers picking random ports for the query port but I'm not sure. Thanks, Noel
