  1. didnt check it but how about a batch used as tca executable?
  2. any1 who purchased my CPU limiter tried it on that game? not interested in hosting it yet as I had 180 minecraft signups this month so not worth spending time on that game yet for me but since it works on a game like lead and gold it might work for this aswell (CPU capping will work for sure , the question is will it make any lag)
  3. never heard of HLSW supporting minecraft, and even if it would i doubt there would be rcon support since minecraft has no rcon.
  4. if u mean viewing the console just use the log viewer feature
  5. anything using the port 10481 when using tcpview? If nothing then could be firewall blocking traffic, have u tried disabling fw? edit : for what i saw on google it could be ports not being properly forwarded if ur behind a router / hardware fw
  6. use tcpview to see which ports are used (and by which process) and which ports are free. then double check your default config files for the ports
  7. java -Xmx1024M -Xms1024M -jar minecraft_server.jar nogui don't forget to add java binaries path to your environment variables PATH
  8. he just has to set up the port in both ini files and it will bind on the proper server and query ports so tca will correctly monitor it
  9. look the TWO .ini files and make sure the ports are correct in BOTH then make sure ur TCA query port is correct. By default its server port +1
  10. what if u run the exe manually? you don't need command line arguments if your cfg files (ini) are properly set. make sure your ports are set in both ini files.
  11. game being in beta and frequently updated, a third party tool to manage it will be a pain in the *ss as you will more likely have to keep its version compatible witjh each minecraft version your customers run.
  12. ye but the point is that joining the server is just as fast (if not faster) than using a third party tool since u only need a web browser.
  13. why would you need that? Simple solution : join the server and type the cmds in game.you can play in browser. and no you cannot use HLSW of course. if you want to see console output just enable log viewer and stream the log
  14. general remark : when making a config request you should post much more info about the game like server files download link, dedicated server how to , etc. I know searching on Google doesnt cost much but since you were too lazy to make your own config (or learn how to) why ppl wouldnt be too lazy to search on google to help you out ?
  15. modern warfare 2 no tiene servidores dedicados pues no puede haber config para este.
  16. login to tca website customer area and have a look at the knowledge database (base de conocimientos)
  17. try running it under different users accounts
  18. 512 being the amount of ram dedicated to the server instance. you can increase it to 1024, 2048, etc
  19. stop server first, never tried editing with server running on minecraft but on arma/arma2 u gota stop server to be able to save the changes made in cfg file.
  20. good opportunity to start learning then just give it a try u will see it cant be easier, you can check ur existing configs if u got a doubt. Just leave game compatibility blank and as game executable put the start_server.bat or whatever the name you gave to the batch file you made to start the server (that batch must contain the java and command line as mentionned on minecraft website downloads section)
  21. making your own config is actually as fast as making a config request
  22. make a template where u create custom variables then add items using those variables so they can be assigned a value.
  23. contact me by email admin [at] roxservers [dot] com

I can make such a script, at least for tcagroup + folder permissions

  24. its just common sense to get basic infos about a game before hosting it and before charging customers. Even more if the game is tricky as you will get more support requests and wont be able to answer any if you arent familiar with the game.
